More Raves about the DP Tuner

2nd day of ownership and I still cannot believe the performance difference this thing makes! Just got back from the store and after going about 30 miles my mileage has jumped from about 17 to about 25 in normal driving!!! if I baby it I was getting 27!! I feel I like I just won the the lottery!!! My wife is now talking about selling the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT and getting a 7.3 excursion she was so impressed!!! If there is any way you can get one of these chips, DO IT!! you will not be sorry

are you getting your mileage readings from the overhead console? just to let you know they are notorious for being wrong my friend. i would fill up and do the math just to be sure!!

it may be off just the same but it may be way off too. im not in any way telling you your wrong because i may be wrong myself. all i kow is that when i have tried to use the consoles to judge my mileage, it has been way off. if your is right on then that is sweet, and all i can do is hope i can get the same somehow!!!

I believe the correct term for the overhead MPG display is the.... LIE-O-METER. 27MPG is next to impossible sorry to bust your bubble but the only way you can get an accurate estimated MPG is to fill up the truck and divide the miles travled by the gallons pumped.
