Does anybody know which line coming out of the tranny is the output
Is it the top one or the bottom?

Let me go find out, it has been awhile. On the 4R100 the front line is output and the rear is return. Be back in a min.

My info doesn't break it down. Common sense would say the return is the upper, but it takes two min to check. Pull one line, start the truck and shut off when it is clear which way the fluid is moving.

WOW perfect timing!!! We were both typing at the same time. Common sense paid off, it doesn't always pay off with Ford though.
