Do i need to remove anything to re seat my y pipe to my turbo? I have a leak there but don't want to tear it down to fix it. Just finished my delete studs and oil cooler.

Loosen all the bolts on the turbo and y pipe, align the pipe, do not use the clamp to pull it up. Once the pipe is set, tighten the clamp. tighten the turbo bolts.

When I reconditioned my turbo I had this same problem. It took three times of breaking the turbo loose and realigning. Break out the swear jar, band aids for the knuckles, some beer and a lot of patience.

While I do not highly recomend this I once had to take a block and 2x4 and pry gently against the cab to bend the flex forward a bit.

Do not use a lot of force just steady pressure. Once again only as a last resort.

Note: Tranny was removed for access and control of the 2x4.

I'm thinking of trying the ratchet strap and slowly pulling it forward.
