Does anyone know if there is a Ford part number for the windshield with "Superduty" stenciled on it? I want one for my '05 Excursion. Called a couple glass install shops in town one told me it only came on glass from the factory and one told me that the pickup windshield will no way fit the Excursion which is a load of BS.

If you plan on tinting it with a strip across the windshield, don't bother buying it because the tint will hide the lettering :thumb:

That it won't fit an Excursion is a load of BS, that would be all that I needed to hear to not go back to those guys.

A few years ago my windshield got a big crack and the glass shop said it was another $50 for the SUPER DUTY stencil. You need to find a better glass shop.

Unless you went with the metallic looking tint then it makes it really stand out nice.

Dude I didn't think about that! Got a pic? Is it kind of metallic but more dark? Or is it that mirror metallic tint that the Mexicans have on their half tons with the wheels sticking out 8" past the fender? Lol

LOL don't have many Mexicans up here. Was thinking of using gold metallic "eyebrow" (think that's what it's called) since my truck is pueblo gold.

Yes that's with the stencil. I made sure they new that when they came out. I didn't want some cheap aftermarket crap. I love the super duty on the windshield. And I'm up in New York and everything is expensive up here. It sucks I miss Texas so much. I'm originally from San Angelo
And insurance paid for it I just got the receipt

Yea I would called some more window places...when mine broke...it was like another 75-100 bucks for the super duty...I passed, I knew you wouldn't be able to see it after I tinted the windshield any way

If you want the "Superduty" to be visible at the top of the windshield, be sure to get the windshield without the tint strip across the top!!!

I recently had mine replaced by Safelite with the "Superduty" and the tint strip, well I found out after that the tint strip almost completely hides the Superduty logo so I wish I would have gotten the windshield without the tint strip!

If your wife is good with the artsy fartsy type stuff, just have her make one with that vinyl sticker stuff. My wife is going to cut out the word powerstroke with her cutter machine to put on my windshield
