Will the 08 6 disc in dash stereo +MP3 fit in my 99.5?

Not without some dash modifications. My 02 I had to do some trimming to get a Double DIN radio to fit. 05 and up (including 08s) are a true Double DIN.

Sorry, no pics. Havent had the truck for 5yrs.:doh:

The radios in the SD style upto 04 look like the same size, but are actually a smidge smaller. Between that and the rounded corners in the opening, you'd have to trim the dash and some behind it also.

Then mounting it become an issue, upto 04 they used the standard Ford "key" system with the two u-shaped release keys. 05+ are bolted behind the dash.

Thanks for the info, it doesn't sound like something that is worth the time to mess with.
