I was driving my truck today towing a 2,500lb trailer, all fluids were up to operating temperature. I proceeded to merge onto a highway and an idiot in front of me slammed on the brakes in the merge lane, then sped up to merge into traffic which left me in a position where I needed to floor it to merge safely myself. During this hard acceleration I was WOT about 10 seconds into this acceleration I had a huge loss of power, the I was showing 2.5-3k on the RPM but I had zero power and immediately my truck began to run “rough” I immediately pulled over on the side of the road, looked under the truck, opened the hood and everything was fine. No smoke from exhaust, no smoke under hood, while I was making these observations the truck was still running rough and then it stalled. When I tried to restart, it would crank but would not start. I assume it’s a HPOP or HPO leak. While cranking the factory oil pressure gauge won’t move.
