Can one of the newer 6.7 engines go in the place of a 6.4 in a 2008 F-350 King Ranch?
Also have heard that there are kits that I could buy to install a Cummins motor into this type of truck. Is this true? And is it worth it?

It would probably take more work than what it would be worth. Especially since you would be replacing the 6.4 with an inferior engine.
I'm OK with brand bashing, but not engine bashing like that ^^^^.

Your probably right drunk on diesel just sounded like a cool concept. I really barely know much about the 6.4 aside from the basics. And when it comes to the 6.7 I havent a clue. Just liked the idea of better MPGs. I also hear a lot less about the 6.7 breaking down. Also I really like the 6r140s that come behind them. So ill probably just wait till someone with to much money and time decides to do it so I can watch.

Go to the 6.7 forums and there are countless posts about that engine breaking down. I always am amazed when peoople say it's so reliable while the forums are full of issues.

MEH, The forums are ALWAYS full of issues. Poeple come to the forums looking for help. Few people pop on to say "Hello, no problems today!"
Totally agree. Heard the same thing when the 6.4 came out. There are many of us who have never had a mechanical problem. knock on wood!!
