Back in the day when I was into Jeeps, there was a member on a forum I frequented that would order you a vehicle at just a few $100 of Dealer Cost and drop ship it for you to your local dealer. Is there any such person on this forum doing the same?

If not, are there any super-high-volume dealers that offer better than average pricing?

Not sure what dealer cost on a SD would be. "Dealer cost" and invoice can be two really different things.

Best you can expect without "good buddy hookups" is invoice pricing. The dealers tend to hold onto the "holdback cash" pretty hard. IF you are lucky you can get invoice pricing, a private offer cash off, and public cash off offers. Given the above expect invoice to be about 11% less (give or take) than MSRP sticker. Then whatever offers you can get together. Ford does limit the "stacking" of some cash offers, but you could get $3-5k cash off if the timing is right.

Your best shot is next Wednesday or Thursday. I bought mine new years eve and the dealer pretty much offered everything but a reach around. Including a 8 year 120k warranty. Found out later at the shop that they essentially sold it to me at cost to bump their volume to the next tier.
