I was pulling out of the shop today and all of the sudden it started blowing white smoke really bad and lost all power. I pulled into a parking lot and turned the truck off. Now when I tryed to restart it, it just thumps like the motor is locked up. Im thinking an injector blew a seal and filled the cyl with oil. Anyone know how to tell if a oring is bad on these things. Oh the truck is a 2000 f350 with a 7.3

Pull out the glow plugs and turn the engine over "by hand". Have someone look for the hole where the fuel or oil is coming from. Pull that injector and inspect the tip and orings.

After you figure out which cyl is filled with fluid and after you repair the injector, o-rings or injector cup do a compression check to see it that cylinder is low compared to the rest. Hitting it with the starter might have bent a rod and this will give you a clue.
