Okay so i just recently put new glow plugs in my 2000 7.3, bought a week ago. While I was in there I noticed oil in the turbo pipes and it seemed to be coming from the CCV so I rerouted it away and thought that would fix the little bit of white smoke I had seen. Now the truck pours white smoke most times at idle, rev driving, and leaks oil out exhaust. Undoubtedly a turbo seal in my mind? doesn't explain the hard starting and when I do start my truck up in the mornings I can put the throttle to the floor and it'll just idle for about 5 seconds before she winds up? I was told the relay was replaced when I bought the truck 8k miles ago so could that be it? My buddy swears its an injector but after initial start it doesn't miss a beat, full power. It has a garret 38r on it, with some type of 50hp injectors.. Any opinion would be much appreciated. Also Im new to the diesel world so how big of a job is the turbo seals?
