Alright posted a few days ago about this and still can't figure out the problem...when the motor is cold it starts and idles fine..when you get on it it goes up to 3000rpm and shudders and throws a lot of white smoke..let off it idles fine...when engine warms up it just dies out and won't start...ficm is good egr valve is clean no wetness at all..fluid levels are good..no trouble codes as far as obd2..can't really tell what the white smoke smells like cause it's throwing a little bit of black too...completely stock besides straight pipe..help please

You need a live data scan and log to see what is going on at the time the event happens
One thing that could be going on is a small high pressure oil leak that only shows up once the oil gets hot and thins out. The problem is the shudder and heavy smoke symptoms do not quite fit with this. The shut down when hot and no restart also points to a high pressure oil leak as well.

So a little more info is needed hence the data log to figure out what all is going on.

Have you tried unplugging your ICP sensor? If you have a no start issue you can unplug the ICP and trick the computer into throwing a default 500 psi. If it fires up with the ICP unplugged then thats your problem. Free test!

What deer creek said but if that doesn't work and you know of a hose shop in town unscrew the sensor, take it to them and have them make you a hose with a 5000 psi gauge (poor mans scanner). Screw the hose in the hole with the gauge on the end and if it will not build over 500 psi it wont run. This will tell you if you have a high pressure leak inside. Hope this helps.

Mine was doing almost the same thing but the starting got harder and harder, longer and longer until it was a no start. Changed out the ICP and FICM and she fired right up. She doesnt smoke or shutter anymore.

But had to do all the tests like Ricemiester said. You think the truck is stressful now, start throwing money at it and watch how stressful it gets. LOL Try running all the tests you can think of to narrow down and pin point the problem.
