well caught me just in time. i just graduated from Wyotech out of laramie wyoming. i will tell you its a good school to consider. they dont tech you about making the high power or all that. but they teach you the good basics on how to troubleshoot real good and really teach you the theory of diesel engines. if you want more info on living and the WINTERS let me know would be more then happy to tell you how it really works inside the doors not what the recruiter tells you

I went to uti of Illinois pretty good school diesel wasn't huge like it is now so there wasn't alot to it but it very popular there now. Lots of good classes I would say good things about nadc and lti but you get what you put into all these programs . You slack and you get nothing from them. I think the diesel course at uti is reasonable price wise but about 20 or so for the whole works but I includes more than u would think. My guess is as for your 6000 school you get what you pay for. IMHO

i'm not ruling anything out but i don't want to get screwed out of that much money and be jobless but i still want a good education
when i looked in to lincon, and the school system, they try to line you up with a job to pay as you are in school to pay for the tuition so you come out not in debt. it was like work in the morn and school at night or vise versa

I went to U.T.I in Glendale Heights Il. I took the Automotive,Diesel and Automatic Transmission Courses. It's been about 18 years now since I graduated, but when I was there the Diesel Guru was name Duelly, and I'm probably not spelling that right but he was one smart son of a gun. I learned alot in the classes there. They do help with job placement both before and after graduation. And I don't know if it's changed or not but when I graduated we were told you can come back any time for a refresher course free.
Hope that helps
