And the Twin-Turbo V6 will never replace the growl of a V8. Ever:nod:
I completely agree with this! The 5.0 we had in our 2011 F150 sounded awesome even when it was completely stock. I had hoped the turbo's would help make the 3.5L v6 sound better...well, they do, but still can't beat the v8. Lol.

Both of my sons bought f150s (Bless their hearts) 1 is 2011supercab 3.5 eco boost and the other is a 2012supercab 5.0. I've driven both of them from time to time. Both of them run great but my vote is for the eco boost when step on the fun pedal it set you back in the seat like a big block and he's averaging 16mpg running on the country roads around home. The most 5.0 gets around home is 14mpg. Though I do like the sound of 5.0 especialy since he put a flowmaster muffler on it.

my 2010 scew 4x4 had the 3v 5.4 and i loved it...just hated the POS short bed. the new 5.0' s run and sound great. if you tow i would think 5.0 or 6.2 still wary of the ecoboost for constant heavy loads. just my opinion

I've used my ecoboost to haul my 24x8.5 car hauler, triple axel and weighed in about 12-13k hauled great, not as good as my dually, but still impressive for a v6 half ton

I have the tow package (3.73 gear set) and averaged 6-7 mpg
