This is a stupid problem but I am having dilema on where to mount the switch for my TW chip. I have a couple of good spots but nothing that I really like. I figured there has to be someone on this forum that came up with a good spot. Also has anyone found a plate to put behind it that is numbered?

No i havent found a plate, but I originally instaled mine right beside the 4x4 switch on the dash. But when I took it out to install some gauges in the dash, and I put the switch back in, it didnt wanna grab right, so the switch just turns as I try to turn the knob. I am trying to figure how to remount it in the same hole as to not hava gawdy hole in my dash

i have a diffrent chip but i assume its about the same, i monted mine on the right side of the steering coumn next to that cubby hole thing (hope you know what im talking about) not real fond of it there sence the plastic curves down and inwards so the switch is at a bit of a weird angle. And a face plate to put over it sounds like a great idea pain in the *** counting some times when turning the switch.

What do you guys think about mounting it in the window switch plate in front of the lock swith. Since I don't have power mirrors I have a big flat spot on he panel. I noticed on another forum some one had mounted theirs there. I have run it through the door and gromet for now just to see if it would work.
