I mounted mine with the suction cup all the way at the top of the windshield tuck in as much as I can in the corner.
It looks like the top of your windshield is tinted and your side windows are tinted, you won't see it from the outside. Mine you can see the suction cup looking at windshield because my windshield isn't tinted. Is it visible from the outside of the truck?
Yeah I thought about that too. Just wondered how hard it would be to read down there. Really would like to see someone that has it mounted on the A-pillar.Got mine mounted in the driver "glove box" by my right knee. You cant see it from outside the truck so nobody thinks it a gps to steal...
How do you mount the a pillar pod? I have one and couldnt get it in there. I almost broke it. Do you have to remove the trim and grab handle on the a pillar. Thanks.
Pics? I just ordered a CTS and debating on where to mount it. ThanksI tried the CS with the A-Pillar mount and it didn't work well at all, I am thinking you will be disappointed with the CTS in that setup. It is much bigger.
I am using the dash mount with my CTS now and think it's great.

I dont care for the dash mount. Thats why I wanted to try this. I may not like it either lol. We'll see.I tried the CS with the A-Pillar mount and it didn't work well at all, I am thinking you will be disappointed with the CTS in that setup. It is much bigger.

Would you mind? I've been wanting to upgrade to the CTS but I dont want it on the windshield. This is the only other place I've really considered putting it; but I've never seen a pic of one installed there, what it looks like, how well it fits, etc.Mine is in the drivers glove box. Easy to read when open and hidden when closed. When I take long trips, I just uncoil wire and mount on windshield. When done, back in glove box it goes. Can post pics if needed. Let me know.
