Just wanted to ask? I've been on this forum for a long time now, and always check in to keep track of what the latest and greatest fixes are for the 6.0 woes, but lately the only replies to any given post are trying to push a certain brand injector, turbo, manifold ect.. The mods used to regulate this to some degree, where have that gone? PVT, you still on here? The site is going downhill fast IMO, I'm sure seeing a lot less advice and more sales pitches, I'm I alone in this observation? Maybe all the quirks have beened ironed out in the 6.0 and now it's just fixes and companies left, and that's ok. Just a question and observation from a long time member...

The in depth discussions have slowed down, which is understandable until the next "greatest modification" shows up to discuss.

You also have the "behind the scene" talk that the members do privately thru texting or social media.

I still see rattlesnake and few others on here. But PVT has been a ghost on here at least haha. I just took about a month or two away from site because of work. But I got two Coe workers convinced to buy a 6.0 diesel when they started asking lol... But, I still see plenty of helpful advice from others. I did notice some for sale parts in the general 6.0 sections but it happens.

Is there any particular trends that started bothering you or? This site is the one I'm on 99% time when I'm online lol

Like mentioned before there are a few post that are on going with "breaking" things.

If you want to start a thread going in depths about anything have at it. If it's something new you bring up or a different idea you will get the results you are looking for.

Anyways I got to agree. But the mods have done away with most of the "bashing" and bickering that led nowhere. That took a lot away form the in depth discussions that actually had useful information in them when the thread derailed and then was locked because of the b.s. that interveined.

Yeah the site has changed and will continue to change. Welcome to big business owning the site that I helped start from day one, tried to even buy but was shut down.

We do as Staff what we can but there is no reason for us to make it better other than our friendships.

I tend to agree with Mr Jetjock that there has been less of a moderator presence. But I see it in a completely different way.


There has been WAY LESS DRAMA recently with people fighting, bashing just to bash, non supporting vendors pushing products, trolls... etc... Moderators are here to moderate. If there are no issues or no problems going on then I think they have worked hard to try and prevent problems and make this a great place to go.

Also I think a lot of the issues have been worked out on the 6.0 and there are a plethora of great products out for the 6.0. Although many vendors that spend a lot of time supporting the org are always coming out with new things to try and help out.


Also regarding vendors pushing products. I think you take that too negatively and look into it too much. I am on here a lot and try to answer all sorts of questions. I spend countless hours trying to help and diagnose problems all the time and try to come up with better solutions... but if someones asks about a product I am selling and wants to know what is the best one... well I think as a supporting vendor we have the right to inform them of our products without being a hardcore salesman


Also there are many CUSTOMERS... not vendors... who are very happy with their products and like to steer people in the right direction. I see that all the time and I don't see anything wrong with it unless it gets a little too excessive. Try and start an IPR remote oil cooler thread on here and see what happens :dunno:

All good points of view guys. Ill still always check the site for the latest and greatest, this place and the given advice has been invaluable to me and my truck, truely appreciate. My 6.0 has been amazingly reliable and I 100% attribute that to staying ahead of all the issues that I've learned about on here.
