Ok guys I recently posted in the 7.3 section about weather a truck was a good buy or not and I got alot of helpful responses but unfortenitly the truck sold be for i was able to go look at it. So now im looking at a 2006 F250 6.0 the truck looks super clean and from what i can tell has been built for reliablity but im no expert so here i am asking again for help from you 6.0 guys. Hes asking 29k which is about 9k more than im wanting to spend but id like to hear from you guys if you think it would be a solid/reliable truck and what you guys think its really worth keep in mind hes had it listed for over 2 months at the same price but i dont think he is in a hurry to sell. Ill post the ad and some pics let me know what you guys think.

Truck is in amazing condition, mild build. Receipts for all. To begin with I bought the pickup out of Idaho from original owner. Truck is ARP 625 studded, deleted, kdd fire ringed heads, truck currently has 205/100 holder injectors that have about 1700 miles on them. Truck has Kc stage 2 turbo.new bullet proof diesel external HD oil cooler, coolant filtration, XDP 225 gear reduction starter, Bullet proof billet water pump, ODawgs intake manifold, bd exhaust manifolds, new stand pipe and dummy plugs. Mishimoto radiator. 6.4 tranny pan, billet shafts. Truck has no rust and has been amazing. Reverse leveled on 35” tires. I’m sure I’m missing a lot. Have all maint records from when truck was new. serviced every 3500 miles, archoil products in fuel and oil.

How many miles and engine hours?

No accidents?

Can you find out who did the work to install the heads?

A lot of nice components (except for the Mishimoto radiator)!

The items below are going to be mileage dependent, but you get the idea:
Brakes, suspension, steering, A/C condition?
Undercarriage rust?
Ball joints/u-joints/wheel bearings all original? Condition?

It does sound nice! If parts weren't getting so hard to find, lol.

I can see why he/she wants the big bucks though, but 25k would probably be my top estimate and that would be if EVERYTHING checked out! Hard to get financing on an old truck also, but that may not be an issue here.

Different animal with different problems but ultimately same decision if they truly want the truck and it’s sound mechanically. I’m not sure where they’re at but in Texas nothing has come down on used trucks. They’re still asking for the farm plus some for a used diesel with over 200k.
Texas market is in fact CRAZY on used diesel trucks!
