I have a set of black KMC Monsters that I'm wanting to get some cleaner for. Need something I can spray on and rinse off to knock the brake dust off. Not sure what all I can use on that finish. Any suggestions?

Personally, I wouldnt use anything but soap and water. Being "flat" paint, I would think anything with chemicals could spot it or discolor it over time.

I would probably stick with the aluminum polish for those

Never heard of waxing wheels. With what? Regular wax you use on the paint?

Soap, water, cotton wash rag, and elbow grease.:thumb:

Yup, soap water and then wax em. I've waxed my wheels for years. I do it every few months or so.

I was born with a nice healthy supply. Funny thing is that my supply is starting to dwindle a little. I gotta use it sparingly now.:hehe:

I dunno if it'd be a good idea to wax those matte black wheels. Could leave them looking the way the flat black plastic does when you get wax on it

I dont think you should wax a matte black wheel either. Gloss or chrome wheels yes but nto matte.

I would suggest a cleaner like simple green and maybe dilute it a little.

Yeah I wasn't planning on waxing them cause they are flat black.

Josh, how's the truck treating you?

My truck is great. Just working on finishing a few things up.

Got my JL audio speakers, stealthbox and amp on the way.

Thinking about doing some airbrushing on the truck....
