I have seen some of your other posts about projectors, and would like to ask you a question. Do you think the FX-R 3.0 3 in would fit in a 07 headlight? Thanks

A 3 in, is awfully big. I don't think so. I can measure a headlight bucket on the lights i have disassembled right now when I get back to my garage if you like. Most seem to use the 2.5s. I have no prior experience with that projector, but it seems it requires a bit of modification to install it.

Bought some Archoil for it, I was gonna skip it this time because this is already an expensive oil change. I needed a new oil filter cap and filter tube, cause the aftermarket filter messed up the spring in the center of the tube. (The dealer that I bought the truck from was "nice" and did an oil change for me before I picked the truck up) But my 7.3 is acting like it needs a slug of snake juice, it's starting harder in the cold and idles a little rough till it warms up, plus a quart is cheaper than 2 pints.
I guess both trucks get a drink for the new year :stump:

Ordered some Moog ball joints, center link, and a seal set to go with it since I'll have it all apart.

Bought 4 gallon of Mobil 1

Rear end bearing and seal kit. Along with some maintenance items. Oil filters etc. this truck is about to be brand new lol

Got a box for some 10's coming next week. Sealed, behind the back seat, and 2 JL W1 10's I've been wanting to use for something. Could have brought it home today but I wanted one in tan. Gave $125 for it. Was in the stereo shop getting some component speakers for my kids car and couldn't leave with just those.

Thought you had some NOS Mercon on the shelf? That'll be good in your transfer case

Amazon cracks me up, I've ordered oil from them before and they have often just slapped a shipping label on a 3 gal case of oil. Usually with poor results, the last case I got UPS had to cut open and put in their own box. My Archoil got here today and they don't take chances with $70 a quart oil. Seal under the cap, shrink wrapped, bubble wrapped, in a zip lock bag, and in a packed box. Needles to say it got here completely undamaged :rofl::hehe::rofl:
Now we'll see if the 6.0 and 7.3 are happy about it. My 6.0 hasn't shown any stiction issues, so I'm just giving it some love but my 7.3 is not a happy truck in the winter, and it was 5* last night :thumb:

Looks like someone fat fingered it

I should have a bottle or two of old mercon in the shed but thus far have been unable to find it.

t6 should be 21.97 a gallon at wally world they have 4 and five gallon tubs but i dont remember them even being that much :dunno:

All I can say is wow.

Case of 3 is a little cheaper here. I saw Rotella T4 at Advance today, didn't know it existed, I've used T3, T5, and T6 :dunno:
