Marc, did you cut out the cross support on the back wall under the window? I recall someone doing that, I just can't recall if it was you or someone else.

10,000 miles......... I have 15,000 miles on mine and I can barely see any wear on them. That's what my last set looked like with 45,000 miles on them. You must a heavy footed fellow ??Here are some pics of my m/t's with about 10K on them. They have been sitting since I totalled this truck last year so they look alittle rough.![]()

That's a 7.3 and I towed alot with it. Mostly 4 to 9K. I did drive in the mountains and played in general alot too. Maybe I should say about 15K. I forget I got them used from a friend that had them on his rig for 2 months then got a sweet deal on some super singles. But that couldn't have been too many miles. It was perfect timing because I had some pro comps that were about wasted. I thought I was doing good with them.10,000 miles......... Also ordered upper lower ball joints from moog received today.
Still waiting on I beam bushings from sunrise.
Not sure if I'm going to do it. It's either pay 400 to get it done or do it with a coworker who's a mobile mechanic. He says he won't charge me and I will do it he will just help. but of course I'll pay him maybe thinking 200.
We will see when parts gets here.

Yea I needed the extra 3-1/2" of height for amps to fit. I used 1/4" X 4" steel and welded a 1-1/2" angle X 1/4" to it so I could weld the flare back into the steel. I used JB Weld on entire length under steel along with rivets and some sheet metal screws. It's actually much stiffer then the OEM reinforcing rib. Thanks I was wondering if you put anything back. Cool. Doing some work as was wondering about taking it out and thought I'd check before I did.
