A little off-shoot from the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" mega thread.
Very simple idea here, show what you bought for your 6.0 today.

Today was an expensive one for me:
-Upper and lower balljoints, both sides
-Center links
-NUC Oil by-pass filter kit
-Couple bottles of Archoil

Looking forward to posting install photos in the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" thread.

Just sent Toyo stock higher, I got 4 Open Country A/T2s for the F250, 4 for the Explorer and 6 for the IDI F350.
My wallet hurts

I asked the guys at the shop about getn A/Ts on my next go round, to cut down some of the road noise, and they said no problem, but they won't last as long as the M/T's. I guess I'll just continue dealing with the road noise. Other than that, I've been very happy with these Toyo's. They perform very well.

You guys who already have the petc0ck drains, do you usually just ask the wife to drain it for you?
We just had a baby so needless to say i'm having to drain my own petc0ck.:surprise:

I thought the ATs lasted longer than the MTs? Not as aggressive but should be fine for what I need. I hope, just spent a bundle of $$$

The M/T's are a harder compound, therefore they'll wear slower

Harder compound maybe, but much more aggressive tread. While they might be usable longer, I doubt they will be any more functional any longer. I suppose if you only drive in a straight line, they'd probably last a good while, but the wear and tear from turns, etc. will eat the M/T tread up pretty quick, IMO. If you're off road alot though, the M/T is a pretty good option. Just my :twocents:

I was going to put cheap tires on the IDI but my wife said don't buy Chinese, so the Toyo's were about $150 more than the cheap ones, she said get em. I try not to argue with her when she makes sense :D

Ordered up the metal cold side CAC pipe and boots today. Heard it will give me 632.8 HP so I figured it was a good investment. Combining that with the petc0ck drain and I should be able to pull the Trump tower by Sunday.

Not my luck with them, had them on my 7.3 and with a little more than 10K they are half gone. They're 38x15.5-18 so maybe the smaller sizes do better. I've never got more than 40K out of the a/t's but with a 60K warranty it helps pay for the new ones. I'll get some pics in the morning of my m/t's.

I'll have to check to see what kind of mileage I've got on my M/Ts so far. I'm thinking its in the 30,000 range so far. I'm hoping to get 50,000 out of them but repeated aggressive accelerations are not helping my cause>:). The guys @ the shop reported that the most they've seen so far is 50,000.

LOL, I probably spent a good minute or so trying to figure out how to type that and get my point across without writing a novel to do it. I had beer, so a minute or so was all I could muster...

Here are some pics of my m/t's with about 10K on them. They have been sitting since I totalled this truck last year so they look alittle rough.

For 10k they look like they're worn a little bit. Kinda hard to tell with pics though. :dunno:
I got on car fax and tried to see if I could find when they put tires on my F250, no luck but they still have a ways before the wear indicator. I just don't like em cause they're Firestone Transforce ATs and they look almost like street tires. And I never liked Firestone.
I did find my "new" Explorer only has about 25k on some Goodyear Fortera's and they're just about to the wear bar, maybe 5k left.
And the "new" F350 IDI has slicks on it so there was no doubt it needed tires. It was hard buying six top quality tires for it but my wife said don't buy no Chinese crap  Dude I got it from had chrome hub caps on it and you can't even check the air pressure on the inner duals, and it's hard the check the others. I'm gonna have to put the hose extensions on the inners and 90* valve stems on the outters if I keep the hub caps. Told my boy we may just paint the rims.
I just ordered some plastic wheel protectors for the clamps on my tire machine so I don't mess up my aluminum rims

Tuesday - Full set of fuel, oil and trans filters
Wednesday - upper and lower ball joints and a hula hoop for the passenger side front.
Planning to get this done Saturday along with the rear brakes and a brake fluid flush if I can.
