A little off-shoot from the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" mega thread.
Very simple idea here, show what you bought for your 6.0 today.

Today was an expensive one for me:
-Upper and lower balljoints, both sides
-Center links
-NUC Oil by-pass filter kit
-Couple bottles of Archoil

Looking forward to posting install photos in the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" thread.

Nothing set in stone yet, my issue with the west side of Idaho is that when Commiefornians invade they just kinda fall over the state line and settle in, the winterier winters might make us look elsewhere (and state run liquor stores)but we'll never know until we see it for ourselves
Yes were being invaded but thats more boise and surrounding areas. Im forty miles southeast in mtn home. Chit little town of around 15k but we have an air force base so that brings in people from everywhere. I wouldnt live in boise, meridian, Eagle, Nampa, or Caldwell if u paid me. It's less than an hour drive for me when i go up there for biz stuff or whatever and im cool with that.

Twin falls is an hour southeast of me. That place is exploding right now like boise. Not sure but back east ive heard is similar but the housing prices havent jumped as bad. Pocatello wouldn't be too bad and not too far from SLC.

As far as winter goes, more snow and colder temps than twin up thru my area. When i went to idaho falls to pick up that 6.0 my buddy bought, it was 20*+ colder there than my house. Left here at 4am at around 20*, burley was around 15* about 6am. American falls was -15*, then once we got to idaho falls about 830ish it was -10*. It was nice and clear though. Which sucked cause the inside of my window was frozen but the sun made it too hot to run any kind of heat even in a t shirt.

But check it out for sure, the Shoshone falls in twin is very cool but not flowing super huge right now i dont think. If you wanna go alittle further west from twin, take a drive thru thousand spings into hagerman. Very cool thru there also.

Last thing is the liquor store issue. I didnt know being state run was not good other than not open late. Prices seem fair and theyre open till 8, 9 on friday Saturday. A gallon of jack is usually under $50. I dont have much to compare it to but utah is much worse i feel. Atleast dont bother drinking when out to eat. And i bring my own anytime i go to salt lake. Now Hawaii is nice, wal mart has two isles worth and the big bottles of patron are $40 versus $100 here. Not that i drink alot, but i did have to restock alittle yesterday and it cost me $200. Got a big bottle of Jack, grey goose, patron, and some 03 triple sec.

OK, I got all of the seats cleaned up. Not fantastic, but I'll probably still get a detail job done. Quick question: It looks like the center jump seat uses the same bolts as the front, but the rears are independent. I understand the 'nuts' are already under the flooring, but what bolts do I need? Should I buy OEM or are they something I can source elsewhere?

Good question, i know the front side of the jump seat ties into the front seats as u say. But i would need to look at one of my trucks to see how the back goes. Ive had my 03 torn down bare but cant remember if there was different hardware. I would assume the bolts will be the same as existing so match up thread pitch and such then you're good. Ill check in the am and post up.

Been buying parts for a few weeks. Got more coming. This is what i have for now. Engine harness, injector harness, gp harness, bd up pipes, diesel site elbow and water pump, oem oil cooler kit, and some studs. Still waiting on heads, gaskets, and need to decide on injectors. Thats my biggest question, who to buy from and what size to meet my goal and keep alittle drivability. Thinking 190/205 for sure. Also need a hpop to handle said injectors and some better monitoring. Planning a cts 3.

Since my last post, i have received a bunch and ordered some more. I now have KDD aluminum heads and am waiting for their stage 2 cam kit and some of their pistons to show up. Odawg SR3 intake, Fass fuel system, XDP regulated return with fuel bowl delete, and abunch of small stuff like glow plugs and stand pipes. Hopefully wont be much longer before i get to install all of this.

I got Smart and stopped pumping $$$$$ into one
Oh this isnt for my daily, ive got a new gmc Denali for that. This is just a toy or side project. Trying to get this 2wd ccsb into the 11's in the quarter. Traction will be my biggest challenge.

But yes to your comment, i still own both of mine but they dont cost me money unless i let them. Surprising how cheap the maintenance and operating costs are when u never drive them. LMFAO

What's this separate finances? I make the money and she spends it, lol. And it's usually her that is hiding what she bought and always checking the mail. She spends alot on kids clothes but makes a decent return selling when they out grow them.

I kinda got yelled at when she found out how much I spent on the new KDD Icon heads and everything else to build the engine for the 04. Pretty sure the rods and pistons I got put me over $10k in parts and I still need a turbo and injectors.

Thank you California for limiting my choices on intercooler pipes. Bought Sinister pipes for the truck to go with the new intercooler. Ordered Thursday and showed up on Friday since they are an hour away.
I won't have time for two weeks to install. Ugh.
You can have a friend ship to their place then send to you. Jus sayin idaho is no issue. Factory hot side is good and the cold side is $133 on Amazon with a couple clamps and boots. If u need to get rid of a plastic style.
