What did you BUY FOR your 6.0 today?

A little off-shoot from the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" mega thread.
Very simple idea here, show what you bought for your 6.0 today.

Today was an expensive one for me:
-Upper and lower balljoints, both sides
-Center links
-NUC Oil by-pass filter kit
-Couple bottles of Archoil

Looking forward to posting install photos in the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" thread.

CFS 6028 arrived today. Waiting on the AFE bladerunner pipes.
I have this intercooler in mine. Best bang for the buck honestly.

On a side note, ordered a Blue Top steering gear today. All front end work was done in June 2020 and noticed slack again in the steering wheel over the last 6 months or so. All the ball joints and everything still look good and the steering gear on the truck is original. At 215K, it's time...

Just ordered two of the 9L3Z-1522008-A door strikers for my drivers side doors. They both rattle a bit so hopefully this fixes that. Passenger side I’m not sure about as I never sit there and can’t hear it over the drivers doors if they do.

I’ve also finally ordered the carhartt front seat covers. I don’t need the rear covers right now since I leave the seats folded up so my DAD can get in and out easier. (Dumb A$$ Dog)

Got my Glowshift fuel pressure gauge installed, chasing down a fuel pressure problem. Apparently the fuel system has never been touched aside from filter changes. Blue spring kit on order. May just wind up being a tired fuel pump, so that is potentially next on my list. I'll eventually get to my cab mounts, of which, 75% of them are dry rotted. Will be looking at the S&B cab mount kit for that.

I did the blue spring and thought "all good" until a year later i put in the fuel pressure gauge. 55 psi at idle and 25 at WOT. 425 beans later all good with 65 idle and 55 WOT.

Got the blue spring kit in and now I'm at 61 PSI at idle. Need to do a WOT check to see how far it drops. I'm also debating on getting the extra ground cable from the engine block to frame ground, but FICMRepair wants $40 for the cable which is reasonable, but then an additional $31 in shipping which is a little insane. I checked my alternator output, and it's at 13.6V at idle after the truck idled for about 20 mins. The additional ground is just to spread load the amp draw during starts a little more evenly between both batteries. (Watched TooManyToys vids on this upgrade/mod)

Head to a local welding supply for some cable. They should have the copper lug ends and shrink tube.

Wound up ordering 1/0 marine grade cable from batterycablesusa.com, cut to length with ends installed for the engine block to frame grou d and the passenger side cab to frame ground for $27.97 shipped.

Bought a grille cover and screen combo. Cost way more than I wanted to pay but winter is here and I will feel better with it on. Of course without a garage it’s going to be tough to install but I’ll get it done. Probably have to rivet the snaps to the grille instead of trying to use the tape crap.

I didn’t have warm fuzzies when I ordered my seat covers from covercraft and sure enough they sent me the wrong seat covers. Since they’re closed on the weekends it will have to wait to return them. From what I’ve read online they want the buyer to pay for return shipping but since they sent me the wrong seat covers I don’t expect that to apply. That and I didn’t get free shipping to me anyway, I paid the shipping costs. We will see how this plays out. 🤞

Thank you California for limiting my choices on intercooler pipes. Bought Sinister pipes for the truck to go with the new intercooler. Ordered Thursday and showed up on Friday since they are an hour away.
I won't have time for two weeks to install. Ugh.

You can have a friend ship to their place then send to you. Jus sayin idaho is no issue. Factory hot side is good and the cold side is $133 on Amazon with a couple clamps and boots. If u need to get rid of a plastic style.

Yup. If it is not direct OEM it needs to get a C.A.R.B. cert number and the cert sticker needs to be on the truck to pass emissions. I do have my truck registered in Montana but still have to deal with the fact companies won't ship non CARB compliant parts here. Crazy part is I didn't want the Sinister blue and they sell the same pipe in grey. Buuuuuuttttt, CARB being what they are the grey pipe is "different" and needs to go through the same certs (IE: $$$$$ grab) the the blue ones went through.
