Thank you. It came with a bullydog when I bought it a year ago. Time to switch. I would rather buy from a supporter.
Well shucks, I see your point ,so maybe I can get another hand to hold onto the other tools and maybe I can wallop the wrench with a deadbolt hammer and help to break it loose.Well I am going to show off my new tool, hey its the kid in a candy store thing.Let me add .... when I tried using a wrench, the tool I was using to hold the pulley started to distort the pulley due to the torque, so my feeling was I was screwing around with the bearings more doing that than a second or two of tangential impact blows.
But, to each his own. I understand your concern.
Consider injuring the piggy and look at the banks techni-cooler intercooler upgrade kitSo with many failures of the boots, the wife said fix for good. Ok, dear. I am now in the market very soon for new bots, pipes and an intercooler for good measure. I’ve looked and am leaning towards the 6028 from csf. A little bigger than stock and better design but not breaking the piggy bank. AFE blade runners are in the shopping cart right now. What’s ever body running now a days?
I’ve looked. Saw somewhere you could create lag with larger pipes and intercooler if the turbo is stock. I’m interested in better than stock right to support a stage 1 and 155/stock sticks when they time comesConsider injuring the piggy and look at the banks techni-cooler intercooler upgrade kit
I put on my 03 ex with stock turbo and injectors with ngauge and gdp tuning and never had any issues.I’ve looked. Saw somewhere you could create lag with larger pipes and intercooler if the turbo is stock.
Well after getting the new tensioner pulley and the two idler pulleys and belt installed, I haven't had much time to really look truck over (my bride blew her knee out)so I look and belt is wobbly a little bit at the smooth idler pulley, I think maybe it will settle itself on there and be ok. still haven't driven it yet ,so I look real hard and the new FOMOCO from Rock auto is warped, thank goodness the trash dude hasn't come yet. I was just saying to Jack the other day no use keeping it that is not an alongside the road job.jeez... Rock Auto seems to be easy to deal with for Returns.Green Bean Is getting a new Belt Tensioner, New Belt, New Grooved and Smooth Idler Pulleys. also New Transmission Wiring Harness of course new gaskets for the Valve body and harness O-Ring for the plug where it goes thru trans case. I cannot find any of the parts stores locally that has the Fan/Clutch Removal Tool ( 30 mile circle) Auto Zone, Advance auto For the rental tools. Local Napa does not sell one. I know from the videos that Burping it with a blunt air chisel is one way of breaking the Fan Nut Loose.
We probably spend more on tires and batteries over truck life than the trucks are worth lol.I just put BF Goodrich KO2 on mine for just over $2k. 285/75R16.
Also retuned from Gearhead SRL+ to Gearhead 8k tow for the winter. SRL+ my tires are breaking loose always on the wet roads ( live on the we(s)t coast of Canada) and at $2k for tires gotta make em last.
