What did you BUY FOR your 6.0 today?

A little off-shoot from the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" mega thread.
Very simple idea here, show what you bought for your 6.0 today.

Today was an expensive one for me:
-Upper and lower balljoints, both sides
-Center links
-NUC Oil by-pass filter kit
-Couple bottles of Archoil

Looking forward to posting install photos in the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" thread.

Thank you. It came with a bullydog when I bought it a year ago. Time to switch. I would rather buy from a supporter.
Let me add .... when I tried using a wrench, the tool I was using to hold the pulley started to distort the pulley due to the torque, so my feeling was I was screwing around with the bearings more doing that than a second or two of tangential impact blows.

But, to each his own. I understand your concern.
Well shucks, I see your point ,so maybe I can get another hand to hold onto the other tools and maybe I can wallop the wrench with a deadbolt hammer and help to break it loose.Well I am going to show off my new tool, hey its the kid in a candy store thing.
Ok one more tool set to keep GreenBean running Wood Rectangle Font Wood stain Electric blue
Furniture Table Wood Desk Line
The wrench is a handful, but at least it adds to the 6.0 collection.

So with many failures of the boots, the wife said fix for good. Ok, dear. I am now in the market very soon for new bots, pipes and an intercooler for good measure. I’ve looked and am leaning towards the 6028 from csf. A little bigger than stock and better design but not breaking the piggy bank. AFE blade runners are in the shopping cart right now. What’s ever body running now a days?
Noticed some spots on the ground in my driveway. Looked like it was leaking from my thermostat cover. Dried off the area, re-inspected after a couple drives and was wet again around the cover. At first, I was thinking coolant, but turned out to be fuel dripping from the regulator cover on the side of the fuel filter housing. I did the blue spring kit long time ago when I first bought the truck. It was actually one of the first maintenance items I did aside from filters and fluids. Anyhow, went to Ford, got the blue spring kit. Now that I think about it. This would have been wise to do when I changed all my injectors recently. As much as diesel is right now. I'll be installing this kit tonight!

I’ve looked. Saw somewhere you could create lag with larger pipes and intercooler if the turbo is stock. I’m interested in better than stock right to support a stage 1 and 155/stock sticks when they time comes

Made an appointment to get it studded on Halloween. Figure I'll let the mechanic install the new EGR cooler, water pump, turbo and down pipe while he's in there. This stuff is all sitting on my garage floor. I have a bit more to get, but need to get the Road Glide settled up first. Hit a deer about 6 weeks ago and the broken ribs are almost feeling good enough to work on the truck. Just have to see where finances are after the bike gets fixed. Hopefully I'll be able to report in the "what did you do to your 6.0" thread soon.

Green Bean Is getting a new Belt Tensioner, New Belt, New Grooved and Smooth Idler Pulleys. also New Transmission Wiring Harness of course new gaskets for the Valve body and harness O-Ring for the plug where it goes thru trans case. I cannot find any of the parts stores locally that has the Fan/Clutch Removal Tool ( 30 mile circle) Auto Zone, Advance auto For the rental tools. Local Napa does not sell one. I know from the videos that Burping it with a blunt air chisel is one way of breaking the Fan Nut Loose.
Well after getting the new tensioner pulley and the two idler pulleys and belt installed, I haven't had much time to really look truck over (my bride blew her knee out)so I look and belt is wobbly a little bit at the smooth idler pulley, I think maybe it will settle itself on there and be ok. still haven't driven it yet ,so I look real hard and the new FOMOCO from Rock auto is warped, thank goodness the trash dude hasn't come yet. I was just saying to Jack the other day no use keeping it that is not an alongside the road job.jeez... Rock Auto seems to be easy to deal with for Returns.
Rear hub seals and brake pads. FP gauge. Going on this weekend

The camper is somewhat what I wanted. Late 2001 Phoenix wigwam @1k lbs. dry. We put together a 7" bed riser to get it home and it was still lightly touching the roof. Other than early signs of pull-through on one of the tie-down eyelets, it's ready to go.

Indoor/outdoor hot shower and cassette toilet is going in after I sort out the custom riser and tie-downs. This baby flies down the highway compared to the fat pig, 3200 lb., Lance.

I am currently getting my brandy new studded tires installed on my brandy new rims and put on the truck. Because I live in an area that you can see nowhere from there is only one option for rims so I couldn’t get cheap steel rims for the winter tires. The rims that came on the truck when I bought it are like 11-12” wide. It’s hard to say because measurements are hard to come by when you have short arms. The tires currently on it are wide to fit the rims and they suuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkkk on ice. Just found this out a couple of days ago. So anyway, long story longer, the tire shop only had one set of rims that would fit the truck and one set of studded tires. So I bought what they had. Wasn’t what I was looking for but I will at least be able to drive the truck during the winter which lasts a bit up here. Nothing just shy of 3k won’t fix right?

I just put BF Goodrich KO2 on mine for just over $2k. 285/75R16.

Also retuned from Gearhead SRL+ to Gearhead 8k tow for the winter. SRL+ my tires are breaking loose always on the wet roads ( live on the we(s)t coast of Canada) and at $2k for tires gotta make em last.

We probably spend more on tires and batteries over truck life than the trucks are worth lol.:D

In the last week or so, I bought me a NoCo Genius 10 battery charger/power pack, a Glowshift MaxTow fuel pressure gauge (white face, green lighting to match the instrument cluster), interior color matched A-pillar pod mount, an EGR o-ring/gasket kit, a fuel filter kit, and an oil filter. Tomorrow is a maintenance day and trouble shooting for a crank no start issue I'm having. Oil change will be next weekend though.
