Since my Leece alternator hasn't arrived yet, anyone see any reason I shouldn't go ahead and install this massive cable kit? Should I replace the 250A fuse with maybe a 150A?

I'm pretty impressed with how flexible they are for their size.
Got all my Edge EAS parts and BPD fuel filter cap today![]()

Bought a 90 and 45 as the filter is right nex to CAC pipe and would be my luck the 90 once tight is pointing at the CAC and no room for sensor

Gonna install this weekend - might end up going Russel braided lines/remote mounting. Possibly off test port, still to be decided. Been pouring rain here so not a chance to get under the hood and fully investigate. You should be able to back it off just a little bit to get it in the spot you want.. as long as you put some sort of thread sealant on the threads of the fittings and you have a decent amount of threads threaded in. There’s also a test port on the front of the fuel filter housing too that’s an option as well, kinda keeps everything hidden and out of the way. Those caps tapped on top can be a PITA for sure. Most reliable spot for fuel pressure readings would be off that test port on the housing anyways.

Joy of being a 6.0 owner. BPD cap doesn't thread all the way down before it is seriously tight. Gonna contact BPD next week - threads on cap have blunt edges on the end threads not sure if that is the issue with it not going tight. Original Ford cap threads are tapered to a point on end of threads. Have ordered Russel fittings/hose from local parts store and going to mount remote off of test fitting port. Drowning my sorrows with a beer.Gonna install this weekend - might end up going Russel braided lines/remote mounting. Possibly off test port, still to be decided. Thanks for the feedback - appreciated.

Just pre fitting the cap to see if I required a 90 or 45 degree fitting to put pressure sensor on. That is as far as the BPD would go in and was basically at a point of having to force it to go any further and I've learned if something has to be forced you are gonna break/damage something.I’m sure this probably isn’t the case.. but just checking, just judging by the second pic of the cap that doesn’t have an o ring on it, did you take the o-ring off your old filter cap and put it on the BPD one? The BPD caps don’t come with their own o ring, as the o rings come with the OEM fuel filters themselves.

So far I purchased UCF O-Ringed Heads ported and polished, with Victor Reinz head gaskets.

Work in the marine industry and bridge lights have to be dimmable. Is a PITA with LED's as some are dimmable and some pulse when dimmed and require expensive dimmer controls. Is a crap shoot on dimming DC LED's, good question to ask when purchasing. Are the LEDs dimmable ? Most of the time full bright is TOO bright for me, especially if I'm on a road trip
That's what I thought. I'll stick to regular bulbs when I need to replace.Work in the marine industry and bridge lights have to be dimmable. I'll be curious how they work out for you. I have a couple out and I changed them a few years ago, so LED would be nice.
I will post some pics as soon and let you guys see for your self. Personally, I don't like them really bright or it's more of a distraction. But, they're dim-able.Are the LEDs dimmable ? Most of the time full bright is TOO bright for me, especially if I'm on a road trip
