A little off-shoot from the "What did you do to your 6.0 today?" mega thread.
Very simple idea here, show what you bought for your 6.0 today.

Today was an expensive one for me:
-Upper and lower balljoints, both sides
-Center links
-NUC Oil by-pass filter kit
-Couple bottles of Archoil

Ordered Timbren FR350SDF for my truck. I was planning on going with air bags but kept running into fitment issues with my B&W hitch. I installed the Timbrens on my wife's SUV and was pleasantly surprised by their performance. Hopefully I like them on the truck.

Had to buy one new tire cause I sliced a sidewall in a fairly new Toyo backing up to the barn. As I cut the wheel to turn the trailer, my L front rubbed against the brush hog sitting by the gate. My boy noticed it later and saw the slice I put in the sidewall. I looked at the brush hog and it has a little piece of steel sticking out on the corner. Well it did have, a cutting torch and grinder and now it's smooth. I wasn't sure how deep the cut was and I didn't want to chance it. Stupid $230 mistake :doh:

At least as I went ahead and rotated the others, the new one ended up on the R rear. Since that's the main drive tire I figure I can do some burnouts and wear it down to match the rest. >

I ordered them a couple days ago, but they arrived today.
4in ss steel downpipe, diamond eye. Had to have them shipped to Washington since I'm staying in southern commiefornia.
Now I have to wait to get back home to install along with the rest of the 5in I have at home

Nice rims and tires! When those were posted, I was just getting my truck back from having a new transmission installed.
This Monday I paid for some KDD aluminum heads and intake manifold.

Got a paper copy of the 6.0 Workshop manual, part 1 and 2, in the mail now, being sent to me. Some of the things I want to do can't find step by step instructions with needed tools, so I got this.

OK, I've had these on for a few months. I've hauled the 5th wheel with a loaded bed for elk camp for 450 miles or so, hauled a ton of wood pellets, hauled my flatbed trailer loaded down with hay, and misc. other things. LOVE the Timbrens. They do exactly as advertised with no fuss, and no maintenance. Empty ride is exactly the same and the ride when loaded is excellent. I don't think I'll go back to airbags after running these.

I finally got my lazy rear end moving and bought updated Gearhead tunes to account for my KC turbo (Stage 1.5). Had to load the updater on my new Windows 7 computer (I know Windows 7 is outdated!) so I could get the tunes loaded on my old X3 device.

I drove it on the stock tune for about 15 minutes ................ Horrible experience!!!

Sure do like the SRL+.

A pair of spanky new KDD heads showed up today. I ordered on the 2nd, and Jason was able to build, and ship to me in 9 business days. Not too shabby..........Jason gets a big ATTA BOY from me.

I haven't picked it up yet, but yesterday I agreed to buy an 18' flatbed trailer w/dovetail. My current trailer is 16' with wood deck, the 'new to me' trailer has a steel deck and is a considerably nicer trailer. I'd been considering a different one for a while and my folks' neighbor put his up for sale. Offered me a price I couldn't refuse so I agreed to take it. I need to go get hay this weekend so I may go pick it up before and put it to use right away.

Let’s see, I just picked up a Kenwood DNX695S double DIN Radio Media GPS etc unit, Rockford Fosgate R400-4D Amp, 4 gauge Tinned OFC amp connect kit with fuse holder and other associated cables including speaker wire, 4 Infinity Reference 8632 speakers, Accele RVCLPMBS backup camera and 4 illcustomzmetalworks 4 Spot aluminum battery terminals. Monday I will order the 4/0 battery to battery cable and then repurpose the old cable to add a connection from my alternator to the passenger side battery. One sunny day soon I will throw on the coveralls and hook it all up.
