I can't seem to remember for sure, but I think someone started a post once time about good stuff to carry in the 6.0. Does anyone else remember that.

Does anyone else remember that. Finally purchased a bunch of 6.0 specific tool to keep in the truck in a tool bag behind the rear seat so that when i am traveling I don't have to pull everything out of the tool box in the garage when I'm getting ready to head out on a road trip. It's something that I have been wanting to do for a while now. I have a custom Harley tool kit that i keep on my bike that i pulled together years ago that has saved my butt more than once, i'm pretty confident that this kit will do the same and pay for itself one day down the road.
Oem track bar, upper and lower ball joints-both sides, vacuum hub seals, updated dust seals, tie rod end, front pads.
Will go to town tomorrow![]()
LOL I ripped my fender trim off as soon as I got the truck home. I am a sheet metal guy I suppose. I also pulled off the rubber door bumpers that are on all the doors. Again just sheet metal, really cleans things up.I've got a box full of fender flares sitting in the shop waiting for a mythical time when I actually have a few hours to do what I want.
We all gotta have a dream. Same her, more projects than time.I've got a box full of fender flares sitting in the shop waiting for a mythical time when I actually have a few hours to do what I want.

well i found a deal i can swing for a new bed take off from a 16 and it is the last one he has we are talking right color and brand new for about what just the tailgate goes for hereYou don't mind how the fenders are rolled in on the newer trucks?
I think the new trucks look like cat $hit so don't worry about me winding up on the 6.7 forums.
A fellow Sprinkler Fitter that lives by me has a 2005 that he completely changed sheet metal to a 2014 model. Then painted it Seafoam-Green and I want to Yak every time I see it. He put insane amounts of money into that truck. Funniest thing is he wont fix the blown head gaskets on his 6.0. He's one of those guys with the 14" wide wheels hanging out 10" with skinny tires squeezed onto the rims.well i found a deal i can swing for a new bed take off from a 16 and it is the last one he has we are talking right color and brand new for about what just the tailgate goes for here
and since my bed is kinda messed up from the granite guy i bought my truck from...
I am doing it I just never really paid attention to the wheel well lines or really noticed there being any to speak of. for me it is the front end on the new trucks that makes me gack.
but dont tell @j.mo because i still want his hood when he "upgrades" >![]()
also glad i dont have to worry about you abandoning us 6.0 guys
just you and me bud I aint leaving till they drag me out
