So with many failures of the boots, the wife said fix for good. Ok, dear. I am now in the market very soon for new bots, pipes and an intercooler for good measure. I’ve looked and am leaning towards the 6028 from csf. A little bigger than stock and better design but not breaking the piggy bank. AFE blade runners are in the shopping cart right now. What’s ever body running now a days?

Consider injuring the piggy and look at the banks techni-cooler intercooler upgrade kit
I’ve looked. Saw somewhere you could create lag with larger pipes and intercooler if the turbo is stock. I’m interested in better than stock right to support a stage 1 and 155/stock sticks when they time comes

Got my Glowshift fuel pressure gauge installed, chasing down a fuel pressure problem. Apparently the fuel system has never been touched aside from filter changes. Blue spring kit on order. May just wind up being a tired fuel pump, so that is potentially next on my list. I'll eventually get to my cab mounts, of which, 75% of them are dry rotted. Will be looking at the S&B cab mount kit for that.
I did the blue spring and thought "all good" until a year later i put in the fuel pressure gauge. 55 psi at idle and 25 at WOT. 425 beans later all good with 65 idle and 55 WOT.

Thank you California for limiting my choices on intercooler pipes. Bought Sinister pipes for the truck to go with the new intercooler. Ordered Thursday and showed up on Friday since they are an hour away.
I won't have time for two weeks to install. Ugh.

Californistan regulates intercooler pipes?

That's insane.
Yup. If it is not direct OEM it needs to get a C.A.R.B. cert number and the cert sticker needs to be on the truck to pass emissions. I do have my truck registered in Montana but still have to deal with the fact companies won't ship non CARB compliant parts here. Crazy part is I didn't want the Sinister blue and they sell the same pipe in grey. Buuuuuuttttt, CARB being what they are the grey pipe is "different" and needs to go through the same certs (IE: $$$$$ grab) the the blue ones went through.

You can have a friend ship to their place then send to you. Jus sayin idaho is no issue. Factory hot side is good and the cold side is $133 on Amazon with a couple clamps and boots. If u need to get rid of a plastic style.

I have things shipped to my son in Utah but I'm under a time constraint and didn't want to wait. I have a metal hot side and after an ordeal of popping 3 out of 4 boots off towing my trailer I went with tubes with better designed ends to go with the intercooler.

Bought a tuning package from Gearhead yesterday, uploading them this afternoon. Unlimited tow, 8K tow, and SRL+ (my heads are studded). Stacking the PCM tuning on top of the Atlas40 FICM tune I already have.
I have the same set up but no studs. Pulls a 7K TT nicely with the 8K Tune and the SLR+ is screamer compared to stock. I leave it in 8K Tow to stay out of trouble.
