Just purchased a 99 f350 7.3. New to the diesel world. It has a Western Diesel exhaust and gauge pillar and I'm assuming a programmer. It has a 6 position knob on the dash. Hope someone has some info on this as I cannot find anything online. Basically want to know what I have. Thanks for any help

You have a 1999 model year Ford F350 with a 7.3 liter diesel motor in it. It has an aftermarket exhaust from Western Diesel along with some gauge pillars. It possibly may have a chip on it with a selection of 6 different settings.

All joking aside if you could add pictures of everything we can help out better otherwise what you got is what you got. People here are good but just a step below psychic, which means most of us are psycho lol.

Looks like a TS chip knob, hard to say what’s on it if you didn’t find any paperwork or tuning card for it. Really even then could be anything. But at least the gauges will help keep an eye on things. EGTs are good to see while towing, trans temp same, both of these are vitals.
Best advise is to do some reading on the 7.3 and your truck, they’re really fairly simple but the more you know the better for diagnosis of any issues

Haven't heard of Western Diesel in nearly a decade.
