Hey all, lurking for years, seldom post, but gained TONS of knowledge, so thanks to you all!

2005 QC 250 Lariat, 218K miles strong. 100 degrees today, and the AC starts blowing out the defrost. Not my first rodeo with vac leaks, so I swap the pump, no change, I swap the solenoid, no change, I crank the heat up to 90, and it starts blowing out the dash vents!

After some fiddling, everything works perfectly, as long as I keep the temp above 76. When I change it to 75, it blows half defrost half dash vents. Kicking it down to 60 goes all defrost. Does not matter if I set it to auto, recirc, dash, floor, or any combination therein, 76 is the magic number for normal opps, 75 is the gramlin setting.

Interior temp sensor? Auto HVAC panel?

I did search first, but after hours of reading vacuum related threads I decided to post.

Thanks in advance...
