So after dealing with other troubles and got them fixd a water leak started, right where the degas bottle hooks up to the block, what is that part that it hooks up to? it has what looks like a sleeve pressed into it and seems like that is where the water is coming from.

Is it at the plastic "Y" below the degas bottle? If so, many of us have changed it out for a stainless "Y".

It hooks in just below the thermostat. could the water pump be leaking that far away? or is it the thermostat housing itself? It seems to be coming from the sleeve that the hose connects to

You might try drying it all off and then putting 15 psi of air pressure on the degas bottle to see where it leaks from.

To get a better view (if you need to), the degas bottle can be removed and pushed aside without disconnecting any hoses except maybe the small vent hoses and they can be used to add air pressure and/or plugged/pinched closed

Also that is a new degas hose, the blue arrow depicts the location (as far as i can tell) of the leak and direction of the flow of the water also, not that the direction matters but got a little artistic lol

That's a new hose on the connection that you have pointed out with the blue arrow? Was the hose changed prior to this while trying to troubleshoot the leak, or did the leak start after you changed the hose?
