New to forum and I got question. I have a 2015 F-250 Platinum after fueling up a couple weeks ago I drove approx. 12 miles (less than 3 miles from home) I got a warning light that said water in fuel, I got in my driveway and a Engine Slowing to Idle light came on. I drained the fuel /water seperator in the frame and it didn't appear too bad. Clear greenish fuel with a small layer of darker yellow on top. I called the dealer nearest me and they requested I tow it in. When we purchased the truck we bought extented service and warrenty till Nov of this year. My insurence company sent an adjuster to the dealer and they pulled 2 samples one from the tank and one from the rail / filler area. The analyses came back and no water was detected. Everything was in spec's Today the service dept told me they would have to pull the pump cover and if they see any rust the warrenty would not cover repair's. Has any one ever had a sensor go out in the fuel system? The repair could cost as much as ten grand I'm told. I would like to hear any comments or suggestions you guys may have.
