Ok not really sure where to adjust my wastgate to. I have a gtp38r with a 1.0 housing 238/80s full fuel mods. On my stock turbo we just screwed it all the way down for max boost. After installation my buddie who's knowledge of diesels just unplugged the vacume line and called it good. Should I hook it back up and screw the wastgate down. Or am I ok running like this?

Usually 6 full turns will get you close to around 25-28psi seat pressure on the wastegate, and that should work well for you. From Garrett, they set the wastegate rather loose to around 7-8psi.
