Hey there.

I have a 2006 f250 powerstroke and when the engine idles, I can really hear it through the firewall with the windows closed. What can I use to silence/seal this issue?

Spray foam insulation?

suggestions would be very much appreciated.

You could use dynamat under the hood and on the interior firewall. Also, you could put a better seal on your doors.

dynomat is your best bet, but you'd have to take the dash out to cover the firewall well.

Here is what I did for my hood. 3 layers in each pocket made it pretty quiet.
