I was hoping there was a hdmi connection because I have a USB c to hdmi cord but my truck only has rca hookups. I was thinking about ordering that cord but hesitant until I know that will work
have one for sale for $150 shipped. I had it in my truck for a few years. It works. I upgraded to a Sync 3 screen and it not compatible. It only inputs composite video not HDMI, but the screen is only SD quality anyway. I used it for a second rear view camera mounted on my tool box for a bed cam and to "pause" GPS when you want to use features that were disabled in-motion. The controls use the steering wheel buttons. I'm sure you could get a HDMI to composite RCA adapter and wire it in. Here's a pic of it:
