I have 2005 F-250 Lariat FX4 and it has just recently started to make strange noises when turning sharp at low speeds. It is making a klunking noise which sounds like its coming from the rear-end. Before the noises started, I put the truck into reverse and was pulling out of my parking lot on a very cold morning. The truck made a "klunk" noise. It also sounded like that there was a ting noise in there too. Well, this has not happened in a very long time. In the past, when the truck made the klunking noise when turning it was the tie rod end (which is replaced now). I was talking to my dad about this and he said that it could possibly be a U-Joint. I read on another post that someone was able to grab the drive shaft and said there was obvious play in the shaft. I do not have any play in the shaft at all. When turning I cant tell exactly where the noise is coming from. It just sounds like its coming from the rearend. Can anyone please help with this issue? I hope that someone can give me a hand with this. Thanks guys. :icon_ford:
