I'm posting a new thread because I want to learn from other people's mistakes at this point I need to know a good combo of a drop in turbo, stage 1 injectors and intercooler for my 95 PSD it stays hooked to a trailer so shoot me a private chat if you know a lot or have the same set up on your truck or post on the thread

I was thinking more along the lines of the bd thruster 2 gtp38 with a pedestal for the turbo and do I really need a new hpop to run stage 1s?

read my sig. that's the best I can say with a couple exceptions....

first call Jim Barder for a turbo re-build, he has a deal going with a billet compressor wheel, and machined plate and cover, for the stock OBS turbo that essentially makes it into a D66.

then, you won't need bigger than 160cc Stage I injectors, cause I can't use all the power I have, the cooling system isn't big enough, (I'm working on that).

and you won't NEED the 4" downpipe.

the rest of my setup works very well.

I would at least put a Super Duty 17* HPOP in there. Yours is 15* and probably tired. After you get the stage 1's in hook up AE or something and test the pressure the HPOP is making. If the pump is keeping up with the demands then just run it.

I'd go with an sd hpop for oil at minimum, a few people are getting away with the sticker if it is healthy, and d66 turbo or the like is also a great idea for a drop in replacement, and I have a DIY ic I used the 6.0 intercooler, custom pipes, and e99 spider, good luck with your build and don't forget custom tunes
