Honest truth I raced a Tundra and beat him by a truck length, but I held the egts to long about 40 seconds hitting 1600. I take off my pyro shoots up, boost is fine but the egts get hot. I try and hit 55 MPH to 60 and I'm in the 12 to 1300's if I try and get to 60 MPH. Did I screw myself and fry my turbo ? It starts fine sounds good when I shut it off no clang clang just hear the spin nothing bad sounding. I looked at the boots no holes no hiss sound. Just the egts shoot up fast when I take off from a dead stop on a normal take off nothing fancy .

Is this different from how the EGT's would react prior to the race?

I would think you have a boost leak based on the symptoms you describe. How much boost are you building under WOT?

I hit 40 mph I'm in the 14 to 16 Pyro. Boost is good nothing wrong there and no smoke or noises or cracks in the boots.

So boost appears to be the same as before? Can you datalog boost and exhaust back pressure at WOT?

Good to hear, Mike! Was the old one made by AutoMeter and did you replace the new one with AM?
