I have 2005 f550 4x4 my battery light comes on and my truck shuts off . Until this happened everything worked as it should . Alternater was charging good . It did it 4 times randomly and battery light would go off after a bit the truck would start last time it did it my **** wouldn't tell my injectors to turn on. So I replaced ficm and now battery light is still on and truck won't start. If anyone has any ideas ples let me no thanks.

are you getting FICM sync? whats your FICM voltage?

are all of your battery connections good?

has your alternator been tested?

what is your battery voltage before cranking and running?

if the alt died and you had weak batteries you probs killed the FICM.

also check FICM harness.

I think it might be ficm harness problem changed alternater battery light went off new ficm and still no start now now smoke. Like it's getting no fuel to injectors file comes out fuel bowl but no smoke out of exhaust . Put good battery s and redid all battery connection's.

Will your scanner show injector pulse width? -- that would tell if the PCM is asking the injector to 'fire'
What is the voltage reading on the ICP sensor at key on an cranking?
What is the fuel pressure? -- need a thread adapter and gauge
as @powerstrokeshellback mentioned, FICM voltage and sync

--If you don't have a scanner, then I suggest Forscan -- it is an excellent tool and gives us common ground for the readings -- PC version is the most powerful
