I have an 06 f 250 fx4 and just put a sct live wire programmer on it with a jlt cold air and mbr exhaust. Will my transmission hold up??...no custom tune just the race tune that came with the programmer....Please help would appreciate it.

welcome to the org! do you have any tranny upgrades, or is it stock? the 5r110 is a great tranny when it has been tuned properly. how many miles on truck?

You should be safe, the SCT is a great tuner that is also nice to transmissions. So far my tranny is holding up great and I have done about 20 passes down the 1/4 doing boosted 4hi launches. I'm sure if I keep doing 4hi launches it will eventually start slipping but I'm cool with that, I'll just upgrade it then.

Yea its a stock tranny with 34,000 miles.
