Now that the 2011's have electronic tap shift, would it be possible to get this option put on the 08-10 pickups? Same basic tranny isnt it?


I see that PPE has figured out how to do it on the early GM's. They fit an 06 or newer shifter and can command the transmission to shift into whatever gear they want.


Anybody working on this?

The transmission behind the 6.7's is not the same as the transmission behind the 6.4. The new transmission is the 6R140, the 6.4 transmission is the 5R110W. With that being said, I believe that Rudy's Diesel Performance did a paddle shifter setup on one of their big builds. I'm not sure how it turned out though. Never heard much about it.

I was just thinking that the control systems between the two tranny's are prob the same which would make figuring out the tap shift easier.
