So I am going to be doing my F/R diffs and Transmission filter and fluid. How is the pan sealed? Do I need to order a replacement gasket for it with dropping it for filter change? Sorry been searching and reading but have not found info about sealing / gasket for the pan.

Mine appears to be a kind of Permatex #2 sealant. There are gaskets available but I think the pan has too much give in it for a gasket.

Last I knew the transmission gasket is reusable. Otherwise just go get one from the dealership.

Front and rear diff covers are the Ford Grey sealant.

Maybe I'm thinking of the oil pan. Looks like BC3Z7A191B is the trans pan.

That’s what I thought but wanted to make sure before I put my Rockauto order in. I will hold off on buying a new gasket get local if I need to. Thanks!
