Hi everyone, I have a 2006 f350 Harley davidson edition. Well my truck when i punch it from a stop the 1-2 shift has almost a delay, no slip or slam just a delay. Then also when im already rolling anywhere between 10-40 mph if i put it to the floor without easing into it the turbo spools then it slams really hard into a gear at and it jerks the whole truck. Its definitely not gentle by any means. Any idea whats causing it and what to do? I have been babying the truck so I dont cause any damage ever since it started happening. Truck only has a 4 inch exhaust and garrett powermax turbo.

5r110 Shift Relearning Strategy
TorqShift Harsh/Slipping Engagements, Upshifts, and/or Downshifts:
reset the KAM using the IDS / A/E or by disconnecting both batteries for a minute
1. Warm the engine and transmission to operating temperature with all accessories off.
2. Idle engine for one minute with engine warm and all accessories off.
3. Idle engine for one minute with A/C on.
Then:
1. While driving, perform three series of upshifts at light, medium and heavy throttle.
2. While stopped, perform three sets of gear engagements (N-R, N-D, D-R, R-D) with the brake pedal firmly depressed and waiting three seconds between each engagement.
Perform these steps once in normal mode and once in tow/haul.

I have read some comments from one of the original 5r engineers that suggest this procedure if shifting gets wacky

you can even just reset the KAM and drive it it will set all the parameters on it's own but you will notice some different shifting for a while
