Hey guys, my tranny just went out at 133,000. Looking to get a somewhat built tranny for 5k or less. Was looking at NADP heavy hauler but it is only rated for 450hp and that seems low. Any suggestions? Anyone have NADP heavy hauler?

I haven't had to have mine replaced yet but I know Brians truck shop and Sam wyse (I think it's Sam something) make good ones.

I know NADP makes tougher transmission then that I think I saw one last year with a 6.4 putting out almost 800HP.

STG1 Sam Wyse is good for 500hp and probably a bit more. They are $3600 with a DPC triple disk converter. But I have him backed up at least 4 weeks. NADP does build a decent trans though.

NADP heavy hauler is rated for 800hp, did I miss something? It's all over the website and paperwork. Tested to that limit too. Been towing heavy with mine for over a year, works great.

With the exchange rate NADP is pretty reasonably priced. Check red diamond diesel, stage 1 rated at 650hp for $3600. They're build a good tranny.
