2006 F250 4x4 6.0 diesel. Startup truck and put transmission in drive or reverse, truck moves normally for about 30 seconds to a minute. At that point truck just stops moving either direction. No noises (clunk) just stops moving. What's really weird, trying all gears to check for movement, went back to reverse and now throttle quit working, press to floor and nothing, only happens when in reverse. Not once but each time I tested. Fluid right to the mark, no discoloration or smell. Engine cold or warm same. Only other problem that seems tied, time wise to this, boost gauge now always zero, but truck runs too good for that to be true. Only see code P0098.

That code is for the IAT2 sensor in the intake manifold ...wouldn't think it would have anything todo with the tranny

OP didn't say what he uses to read the codes , tranny codes should cause the tow/haul light to blink -- ForScan is the tool to use for codes on these trucks

for sure ..grounds and shorts ...had two instances of critters nesting under the hood this spring
