I know that this is a beat up subject, but I'm looking for a bit of a different opinion.

I plan on towing my T-Bird Supercoupe and my Marauder MAYBE 2 times a year. I need a trailer brake controller, but all I hear about lately is the P3.Due to the fact that I won't be towing very often, do I really need such a pricey unit?

If not, can someone give me a good yet inexpensive option?

If its not something you are gonna use regularly the Tekonsha Voyager works fine

No you don't "need" the P3, the P3 is the same as the prodigy but it has a fancier LED screen that will show you a few more things and it can do electric over hydraulic brakes.

Everyone one here will say go with a Prodigy or P3, which I agree with

Special on it right now, 98 buck, then you have to pay another 15 for the plug and play ford adapter harness, can't beat that deal
