I HAVE A 2000 F350 WITH 135,000 MILES ON IT AND I JUST GOT IN IT TO LET IT WARM UP AND I HAD A LOUD NOISE SO I CRAWLED UNDER THE TRUCK AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TORQUE CONVERTER. I CAN GIVE IT A LITTLE FUEL AND IT GOES AWAY AND LET OFF THE FUEL IT COMES BACK. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THE TC. ALSO IF IT IS THE TC DO I NEED TO HAVE THE TRANS REBUILT TO, IT SHIFTS FINE AND PULLS GOOD I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN IT 14 MILES SINCE I HEARD THE NOISE.... HELP

The dual clutch converters do rattle at idle when they get worn. I've seen them bad as low as 80,000 miles. Do check your flywheel when you pull it, they can cause the same noise.
