Too hot, too cold, not enough fluid in the tranny have been discussed. How about too much fluid? When is it too much and what are the effects on our stock transmissions? Ive seen a post about the transmission dipstick tube puking, but thats nothing too serious. Has anybody blown any gaskets?

If you have too much trans fluid it can lead to foaming and therefore accelerated wear, excessive pressures in the trans, gasket leaking etc etc...

Okay :thumb: Since day 1 I've had a difficult time reading the dipstick but have thought it was low. Topped it off with about a quart and have been checking again and again, hoping it's not over-filled. Havent seen any froth, so I guess I'm good to go.
