OK, after the big strike, did anything happen or is anything going to happen? I didn't here the big question, why is diesel so much more than gas? The sulfur removal? If it is removed at the beginning then doesn't that mean there's no sulfur in gas also? Those big wigs better have a hidden address because they aren't going to have homes soon! the REVOLUTION BEGINS!!!!!!!

WELL I KNOW AT WORK WE HAVENT GOT OUR FITTINGS THATS BEEN ON ORDER BECAUSE OF THE STRIKE AND ITS HURTING US ALOT SO I HOPE IT REALLY DOES WORK AND THINGS CALM DOWN BECAUSE IN TURN OF THE STRIKE ITS HURTING THE LITTLE MAN

Well here in Colorado i just paid 4.04 yesterday. (HAD TO). I dont think the strike is going to work, unless someone finds a way to get every semi to shut down. otherwise its not going to work to well.

Today on the news they were saying that gov is using 55 million gal of diesel and jet fuel everymonth in iraq. hmmmm if the supply stays the same and demand goes up, so will price. what is the fix? either make more (buy why? then we will make less money says the oil companies...) or use less. how do we use less?!?! well this is not a political thread!

well, if the gov would stop putting its hands into my paycheck, that would give me an extra $400 per month that i wouldn't pay in taxes.
also, the gov needs to stop screwing with economy. I.E.: stop reducing interest rates and stop printing money.

Yes the war isnt helping prices...However did ya know Kuwait was giving the military almost 900k gals of jet fuel aday and almost 600k gals of diesel and gas per day...The other fuel we purchase off Kuwait is at half market value...On the other hand the private contracts we have with some other private oil producers..Wouldnt mention any names..Can only imagine..The military is paying twice the price of fuel for Texas T...No wonder the pres.didnt know there was a problem with fuel prices...

I am so sick and tired of Politicians. I swear, by the time they get to the point that they can actually make a difference then they have already comprimised their integrity and just sell out on major issues they used to defend. I have the solutions to this countrys problems (at least what I think would help us out haha).
1st, Stop freakin importing foreign goods while we are in a recession. Seriously they have got to be stupid. Put American made products on the shelf at Wal Mart. We are supporting countries that are in turn causing the financial crisis we are in. We have become a dependant country instead of the self suffient country we used to be. Stop feeding the mouths of foreign companies
2nd, People need to live within their means and control purchases on credit cards. Bankruptcies cost us a lot of money. Make them harder to do. Heaven forbid you actually have to control your expendatures and take responsibility for your own debt.
Get those d*** hippies and tree huggers out of here. Their complaints have stopped alot of drilling for oil on our own land. This makes us rely on foreign oil. We have no need to do so.
Deport the illegal citizens. Seriously its retarded! There are an estimated 12 million illegals in this country. Say through the course of a year those illegals recieve 500 dollars which is a very low example, that is 6 BILLION dollars spent. You cant tell me that it doesnt affect our nation. Freakin Rediculous. They give us no return. Stop spending dough on them. Im fine with people coming in legally but kick the people back to whatever country they came from that dont have the respect or integrity to come here the right way.
The politicians that have some influence on these issues and do nothing are Cowards without a cause

I would love to be a politician and actually have people listen to what people like us say. Just the average American that has the voice of the average American. Not some suit that lives in his colonial mansion and has a limo service in a converted town car. America needs to hear from its citizens. I would love to start a group and get alot of members of all types of forums such as this one and the Cummins and Duramax followers also. I work with trucking and a lot of owner operators are parking their trucks and getting day jobs. If this trend continues then the nation will crumble. This country relies on trucking and with the bend over and take it diesel prices that we have now it will continue until every trucker that is driving an company owned or privatley owned truck gets fed up and quits. I hate how politicians have a one track mind. They lose track of the effects things will have later on. Oh well. No one wants to listen to us

I doubt an stopping of our purchasing is only a drop of water in the bucket. Me, I just fill up more frequently so it's not $100 a pump!
Personally, it sucks to feel like I'm working to drive my truck, but I got 225 injectors and a big fat 62/80 turbo coming, and dangit, I'll take the power of these trucks over mpg ANY day out of the year :nate:
