Whats the diff? Which is better? Lookin for solid 400 hp with stage IIs and Termy's. They seem to be close in price. Im lookin for the least amount of lag, no more surge. Help me out here guys. If you have either please post your numbers and your combos. Thanks

I've had no problems out of my TN, but than again I'm not 100% sure mine is a bb unit anymore... and I really don't feel like tearing it apart to find out. In the event that it isn't, me and the ol' boys that sold it to me (shop no longer in business apparently) and TN are gonna have a come to jesus meeting...

If I were to do it over again I'd go 38r, seems to be a better turbo for higher hp applications...

You can not compare the 2. 1 is a turd and the other may be the best drop in upgrade you can do for the 7.3. The 38r is worth 10 of the tn. Wait and get the 38r. It's a no brainer.

yeah that is why I upgraded to the TN, my stocker was surging very badly.. I got one of the first turbos to come out of TN (2nd production run) and I have not had a single issue out of it. Doesn't build the amount of boost a 38R will but still a HUGE upgrade over the stocker POS.

But as I said if I were to do it all over again I'd go 38R.

My TN has not given me any problems however I wish i would of went with a Modded H2E

I wouldn't mess with the tn. Go with the 38 or if you got the funds a modded h2e

The TN unit turned out to be a big turd. Stick with the good old reliable Garrett BB unit. It is an excellent option for those looking for a good stock to 450 rwhp turbo. Spool up is lightning quick on these things and they are very durable. We just got a few more in stock, if youd like a quote on one, shoot me a PM or give me a call.
